Human Resources Transformation Specialist

Voigt Peters is seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Transformation Specialist to support a Business Transformation and Organizational Change effort for a large multinational hospitality industry company in the Washington DC metro area. 


Position Description

Supports the client’s human resources group through its business transformation and organizational change work. As a member of our overall support team, the HR Transformation Specialist would focus on the internal organizational change and staff realignment.  You will work with corporate leaders, managers and subject matter experts to:
  • Design and implement organizational structures to support IT and transformation initiatives.
  • Apply an understanding of human capital processes and programs when analyzing and implementing human capital programs supporting the client’s strategic direction.
  • Brief corporate personnel on human capital activities.
  • Involve stakeholders in preparing for change.
  • Align human resource capabilities to support initiatives.
  • Identify risks associated with human capital changes and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and develop plans and process to implement organizational changes in support of business transformation. 
  • Utilize best practices and organizational change management techniques to gain buy-in for and roll out new organizational structure. ​ 

Position Requirements:
  • Experience applying human capital management techniques to successful business transformation efforts.
  • Experience applying problem-solving techniques to large-scale problems, use of facilitation tools and techniques, understanding and application of metrics (process, output, and outcome) to successful business transformations.
  • Ability to adapt and think creatively within a large transformation environment.
  • Ability to articulate ideas and recommendations based on organizational assessment data and knowledge of industry best practices across Human Capital performance elements.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct research and synthesize complex information to identify and make a compelling case for the proposed solutions to human capital and talent management challenges.
  • Ability to build productive and trusting relationships with internal and external clients and business partners.
  • Ability to support multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply highly developed technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills to manage complex projects in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and experience developing and presenting complex information using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Master’s degree preferred) and 5-15 years of relevant experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
