Rob Anastasio - Director, Communications and Business Capture
Rob Anastasio brings 15 years of experience in strategic communications consulting and project management in advancing the missions of clients in the private industry and Federal government sectors, including the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Naval Research, Department of Defense Force Health Protection & Readiness, the U.S. Senate, and government think tanks. He has led all aspects of strategic communications planning and execution, both internally and externally, through strategic messaging, knowledge management, engagements, and storytelling, to help drive organizations and teams toward meaningful mission impact. He is adept at organizational communication principles, tactics and techniques, targeted marketing, stakeholder engagement, business writing, and government relations.
Rob manages VPD’s strategic communications practices and service offerings, including internal and external communications initiatives and campaigns, while also supporting critical employee engagement, growth, and business development needs and activities across the organization.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Language from Roanoke College, and a Master of Arts in Organizational and Corporate Communications from Emerson College. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the National Eagle Scout Association.
Rob resides in Loudoun County, Va., with his wife and two children.
